i can't believe its already october! how times flies by. this weekend is thanksgiving and i think my family is hosting the biggest one we've ever had this year. my family members live on completely different continents so its not easy to see them a lot considering we have different holidays...my great aunt is coming over, both my brothers invited their girlfriends and a family we're friends with so the table will be very crowded this year! (in a good way) what's your favourite part of october?

i went to see ben howard (see the feature here) last monday and had an absolute blast, his voice is so sincere and honest. i was very surprised that i knew one of the opening acts, marcus foster. i heard his song "i was broken" a couple years ago and low and behold, he played it!

i hope you all had a wonderful easter holiday and ate lots of chocolate (i know i did!) after the lovely 25 degree weather we had a few weeks ago, it became cool again which made me sad because i was looking forward to an early summer! so i've resorted to layering pieces and somehow making them work. i love the "infinity scarf" because literally every time i put it on, it falls in a different way. sometimes i wrap mine a few times every morning until i'm satisfied with how it falls. i'm culminating a list of different things i want to buy and i'll definitely share it with you soon! have a great week :)

mixing neutrals

i've had the worst luck with technology over the past week. i've been desperately trying to upload pictures of my outfits for you guys but they haven't been working! then, my camera decided to die, my phone doesn't like charging anymore and that basically leaves my batteryless laptop and ipad as the only two things still semi-functioning. so here are some lovely webcam pictures that i took for you guys. hopefully my computer will decide to work soon so i can upload some pictures or i can finally figure out how to transfer files from my computer to my laptop! this outfit was kind of thrown together but you can always trust neutrals to look good together, that's why i love them! i was going to see liam, zayn, niall, louis and harry as they're about an hour away from me but as fate would have it, karma decided to be a bitch(again). on a positive note, i got another fish today. i called it rex, hopefully he won't be eaten by my cats like the others! happy oscar sunday my lovelies! who are you vouching for?
